Ahmed has (20+ yrs) of diverse human resources and management experience that spans start-ups and established organizations locally as well as internationally. His experience spreads out in the services and manufacturing fields in various industries such as food, agriculture, farming, real estate development, telecommunication, technology and building materials (amongst others) and is completely comfortable working across-cultural, multi-national environments.

 

Ahmed Joined Wadi Group in October 2017 as Group Chief People officer. prior to that he has been with Ooredoo Iraq "Asiacell" crafting the Human resources strategy. Just after he had finalized splitting Amer Group and setting up a sound structure to manage  the 2 new groups. Prior to that Ahmed joined Vimpelcom &  Orascom Telecom Group since 2004 between Algeria & Egypt as Chief HR & Admin Officer where he positively contributed to high level strategic decision making and drove performance throughout complex organizations. Practiced an impressive track-record of leading substantial growth and cost reduction initiatives, building customer-centric leadership teams and providing support in various HR functions; Previously Ahmed was driving the Human Capital Development function at CEMEX Egypt, supporting the transition from a state owned company to a multinational firm, in terms of training & development, recruitment, performance management and organizational behavior/culture.

Ahmed Earned his MBA from City University of Seattle, and his Bachelor’s degree of arts in Business administration from the University of San Francisco de Quito.
